THE MATERIAL-FIRST FRAMEWORK

01. ENGINEER

The Scientific & Bio-Native Foundation

I begin by formulating the material architecture itself. Sourcing localized organic matter, algae, and mineral pigments, I construct custom substrates tailored to specific mechanical constraints. By altering structural layering, flexibility, and performance attributes, I engineer direct circular replacements for synthetic leathers, petroleum plastics, and toxic coatings.

02. DESIGN

Translating Material Constraints into Form

Once the substrate is engineered, its unique physical parameters dictate the product design. I design fully realized prototypes—ranging from performance footwear uppers to luxury hardgoods—that celebrate and leverage the natural aesthetic, drape, and structural behavior of biological matrices.

03. DEVELOP

Scaling to Production & Global Supply Chains

An innovative material is only as good as its execution on the factory floor. I bridge the gap between speculative material science and market reality by translating prototypes into production-ready tech packs, performing failure-mode risk analysis, conducting mechanical stress testing, and managing supply-chain integration across Tier-1 and Tier-2 global manufacturers.
